The app offers users the option to download one issue of their choice upon purchasing the paid version. However, users who download the free app do not receive a free issue unless stated otherwise. Within the app, users can also purchase the current issue as well as access back issues.

Subscriptions to Black+White Photography magazine are also available through the application. Upon subscribing, you will receive the latest regular issue at the time of purchase.

• The subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal charges will be applied within 24 hours of the end of the current period, based on the current subscription rate for the product.
• You have the option to disable auto-renewal through your Account Settings, although you cannot cancel an active subscription.
• Payment will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. If a free trial period is offered and you choose to subscribe after the trial ends, any remaining free trial period will be forfeited.
• If you decide to cancel a subscription during its free trial period, please do so via the subscription settings on your iTunes account at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid any charges.

Users can conveniently register for or login to a pocketmags account within the app, ensuring the protection of their issues in case of a lost device and allowing them to browse their purchases on multiple platforms. Existing pocketmags users can easily retrieve their purchases by logging into their account.

We recommend launching the app for the first time in a Wi-Fi area to ensure full retrieval of all issue data. If the app fails to load beyond the splash page after installation or an update, please delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.
